This collection consists of papers from the personal files of J. Lennart Cedarleaf. Most files are related to his work with the ACPE, as well as notes on the writing of personal narratives (also called autobiographic theology). John Lennart Cedarleaf was born on August 5, 1915 in Rockford, Illinois. He was ordained in the Presbyterian Church in 1946. Lennart served as the Chaplain and the Clinical Director at the State Teaching School for Boys in St. Charles, California, from 1948-1954. He then worked at the North Reception Center in Sacramento from 1954-1978.
